blessed to be able to announce that this coming March, we are expecting
our first baby! We just finished our first trimester and
though it's been tough, the baby is healthy. We had the
opportunity to get a couple ultrasounds and the one below is the video
of our baby @ 12 weeks! We will find out the gender of the
baby in two more months! We can't wait!

ones below are some of the rejects...
We're
getting another one! We already have two cats and now we're
getting a third. We don't know what to name the third yet,
but we'll find out the gender in two months. By the way, it's
not a cat, it's baby yoon!

Joel
and I have been married for over three years and my middle section will
become very big this year.

We feel blessed to be

baby! We hope he can dunk a basketball by the age of
13.

Kobe? A Future Bull?

That's what the Chicago Trib, ESPN, Kobe's website is saying. This could be a very strong possibility! I don't know about you guys, but if this happens, I support it 100%. I do think Kobe's a bit of a baby, even about how he's handling this whole "trade me" situation with the Lakers. But who cares! He's good! A bit on the selfish side, but definately a player you can build a franchise around. I love the baby bulls, I'm a big fan of what Paxson and Skiles has done. But I believe you need dependable "go-to" players to be able to win a championship. I believe Paxson and Skiles can definately bring in the right players for Kobe. MAKE IT HAPPEN!

On a side note, this past weekend, we had a Youth Rally for the STL yg's and it was a tremendous blessing to see God work. For both Sharon and I, we felt so humbled to see how God has brought these brothers to STL to work. For Pastor KJ, Pastor Mike and Pastor John, they've now been doing this for 2 years and are more used to it, but for a newbie like me, it was amazing to see how God has carefully been working all these years through CFC and now we're all doing ministry together in STL. What a blessing it is. Also, not to mention, Pastor David Kang was the speaker. God is truly faithful.

Lastly, we've moved into our home! We were homeless for 2+ months! So it's very nice to have a place you can call home! If you are in STL, and want a place to stay, we've got a guest room for you!

And this is a picture of our YG. Full Gospel Church of STL. Smile!

<img title="IMG_0423" style="border-style: none; That includes a regular oil change, topping off all fluids, vacuuming all floors, cleaning the exterior window, and a couple of other things. Not bad for 20 bucks.

But I've noticed that every time I'm there, they try to sell me something else. The first time around, it was to fill up some fluid, I forget. I tell them no. Then they do it anyways and charge me and then I have to argue with them for the next 20 mins to get the charge taken off. So it happened again yesterday. I get my oil changed, different jiffy lube, and they tell me my freon is low and I need new wipers. I say no to both and then they ended up replacing the wipers and charging me. So we argue and they take the charges off. But the funny thing is afterwards, they actually took the new wipers off and put the old ones back on. But I noticed while I was there, the guy would tell each person, something needed to be fixed. Like, do you want your transmission fluids flushed? You need a new this, or a new that... to each person.

So I get home and I decide to check out some complaints ppl would have about Jiffy Lube and wouldn't you know it..... check this out. http://www.nbc4.tv/investigations/8881193/detail.html Just beware of getting scammed by them. I also found out, their goal is to sell $60 worth of services to each person. They also work on commission basis, meaning, the more they rip you off, the more they make.

BEWARE OF THE JIFFY LUBE. No more cornfields of Champaign, but now we're in the cornfields of St. Louis. I started serving as the YG pastor at Full Gospel Church in St. Louis. I'll put pictures up when I have some. We got to STL a little over a week ago and here are some thoughts.

1. It's HOT! When we left Chicago 2 Friday's ago, it was in the 60's. When we got to St. Louis, it was in the 90's! I hear that the jet stream goes right above STL so there for it can change temps a lot.

2. There are many 2 way streets with a stop sign only on one side. I didn't notice it until I needed to turn left. I was waiting for the cars on the other side to drive by, but they were just waiting for me. Then I realized, there's no stop sign on my side, but there's a stop sign on there side. Who does that??? STL does that.

3. And no Chase banks! Chase, I thought you were supposed to be everywhere!

4. Just visited Brad Pitt's home town, Springfield, MO. He probably has more money now than his whole home town combined.
Leaving.. on a jet plane...

Some say, it's about time! Others say, it's so soon! We say, it's just about right.

We're now second time home owners. We bought a place in St. Louis, we sold our place in Champaign. We'll be leaving campus next Fri, 3/16 but may come back for P. Milo's sermon on the following Sunday. But that's it! Our time in Champaign has come to a close. I can't believe it.

But we will be having a house closing party, this Sat 3/10 @ our home from 3:30-7pm. So stop by and say good bye!

Mortgages...

If you've had experience with mortgages through ING.com or virtualbank or one of those online banks, HOW WAS IT? Or if you know of someone, let me know. We're interested in getting our next mortgage done through one of those places.

Monday, January 22, 2007

In the words of Joey Tribiani... If you guys know me, you know I pretty much dislike animals, not because they're not cute or things like that, but pretty much because they are an inconvenience. But Downy has proved himself to be the perfect pet. Why?

1. He's cute. Can't have a pet if he's not cute. If he's not cute ,than what else does he have to offer? (This is not my philosophy with women.) He's napping on my lap right now as I right this entry.

The cutest thing is when he's napping, he'll lose his balance sometimes and fall of my lap but hang on to the thread of my shirt.

I pushed him off to take this picture. Heh heh...

2. He's potty trained. Since having him he's peed outside his litter box once, and that was the first night. Now he goes to the litter box all on his own. If you know about Toby, a dog we tried out for a week from Glory, he was, to put it nicely, a nightmare. He was potty trained, but because he was in a new environment, he'd take care of his business wherever he'd like, couch, carpet, bed, kitchen floor, it didn't matter to him. And the best was when he would get on to the pee pad (a small square piece of cloth that absorbs the pee) to go pee, he would act as if he's going to pee on it, and right when he's about to go, move his hind legs off the pee pad so he'd pee on the floor. And we're convinced he was doing it on purpose. That evil dog.

3. He's cheap! You don't have to buy too many things for him.

4. He's easy to manage. He'll take care of his business on his own. He's not gonna rip up anything. You can leave him for the whole day he'll do his thang.

And the question we've recieve the most, or will recieve the most is, why not a dog? Dog's though they are probably more fun and enjoyable, with our schedules they are too hard to manage and we'd have to take him down three flights to take him to the bathroom. With cats, you set it and forget it.

Cancun
And we went to cancun this weekend. The folks are investing in some real estate out there so as a Thank you to all the investors, they gave all of them an all expenese paid trip. I never felt like such royalty before. Half of the trip was just looking at different sites they are building hotels and villas, etc, so it wasn't a total vacation, but no complaints here. The best part was when I was chillin by this hotel pool, enjoying the cancun sun when someone comes up to me and offers me some fruit. Later on, they bring us drinks as we lay out and then offered us a massage. Ok, well, they didn't offer us a massage, but the drinks and fruit were good enough for me!

Enjoy the pics I have, my brother and my wife has the rest of the pics.

When we arrived at the hotel, they offered us drinks and a cold towel. That's my uncle and my dad.

Our Hotel Room

View from our room.

Me and the investor, my Dad.

Cancun style Dol-sut bi-bim bop with no bi-bim or bop.
